Academic Advancement Programs – University of Central Florida
New position in Academic Advancement Programs, home of UCF’s Ronald E. McNair Scholars program. I have developed a peer learning program in the form of peer mentors who coach and advise their peers on graduate school preparation, integrative learning, and high impact practices. Inclusive digital learning components (webinars, online modules, online structured program, etc.) were designed and developed to create greater access to graduate school preparation for historically underrepresented populations in higher education, first-generation college students, and students from a low-income background.

Facilitated the creation of a comprehensive network of support in advising, and fosters a collaborative culture shift between UMBC and partner 2-year institution transfer advisors while ultimately better serving students’ transitions.
